My passion for photography was born... ehm... I guess a little bit than one year
ago! My family gave me a Toshiba PDR-M3 in 2000 and I used it a lot for 4 years
taking a lot of pictures. But the features of this camera were not so
stimolant to become addicted to pics! In 2003 I've been in Paris with Alba and
Angelica... a great great great trip where I think to have gotten the best of my
Toshiba.
In june '04 I bought a Fuji S3000. Some months before leaving Italy for my
wonderful erasmus period in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) at the University
Babes-Bolyai.
In this country I've seen so many beautiful places and I met interesting
people. And the desire to keep those moments in my mind for ever was too
strong. So I started taking pictures with a new eye, like an observer who tries
to take the best of that context.
Last summer my father gave me a superb film camera: Minolta SRT-303 with this kit of lenses and accessories:
- Minolta ROKKOR 50mm f/1.4
- Vivitar 28mm f/2.8
- Polar 80-200 f/4.5
- Vivitar Tele converter 2x
- Flash National PE-247S
- 3 Vivitar Automatic Extension Tube for Macro (12mm, 20mm, 36mm)
This full manual and no-autofocus camera gave me the possibility to explore
a new world, made all of values to set like aperture, shutter speed.
After some months using a great used Olympus E-10 DSLR camera... I'm a happy owner of a Canon 300D Digital Rebel with:
- Canon USM 18-55mm f3.5/5.6
- M42 Adapter
- M42 Carl Zeiss 135mm f3.5 (216mm with the 1.6x factor)
- M42 Contax SuperTakumar 50mm f1.4 (80mm with the 1.6x factor)
- M42 Kenko 2x APS Teleplus MC4
- 3 M42 Extension Tube for Macro (12mm, 20mm, 36mm)
Enjoy my shots... and if you want, post some comments!
In march the Afarp association acquired its site for its activities. This building is an old psychiatric hospital. I took some photos and I would like to show you them...
